Inspiration map (e-Tips article)

It was great to work with the inspiration program again. I used it a few years ago with my 6th grade students to create a project about their personal characteristics, favorite activities and some family information. They had to put a picture of themselves right in the middle and them create a web answering a couple of questions using the target language. They really enjoyed doing it and they also presented to the whole class. It was a fun way to practice the vocabulary and some grammar concepts. I think inspiration is an easy tool to use and the pictures available can add a special effect in any project. I definitely will try to use it more often to brainstorm vocabulary when introducing a new unit or to write small sentences about any content we are learning in the classroom.
